Erectile Dysfunction (ED)
Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is the persistent inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual activity. It can result from physical, psychological, hormonal, vascular, or neurological causes and affects men of all ages, though prevalence increases with age.
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
A highly common endocrine-metabolic disorder characterized by chronic anovulation, hyperandrogenism (excess male hormones), and micro-cystic appearance of the ovaries.
Vaginismus
Involuntary contraction of the pelvic floor muscles surrounding the vaginal canal, preventing or making vaginal penetration painful, difficult, or impossible.
Adenomyosis
A condition in which the endometrial tissue that normally lines the uterus grows into the muscular wall of the uterus (myometrium), leading to uterine enlargement and intense cramping.
Pelvic Congestion Syndrome
A vascular condition causing chronic pelvic pain due to varicose veins in the lower abdomen and pelvis, resulting from pooling of blood in dilated ovarian veins.
Uterine Fibroids (Leiomyomas)
Non-cancerous (benign) tumors of the uterine muscle wall that can range in size from tiny seedlings to bulky masses, causing heavy menstrual bleeding and pressure.
Vulvodynia
Chronic vulvar discomfort or pain characterized by burning, stinging, irritation, or rawness, occurring without an active clinical infection or dermatological disorder.
Interstitial Cystitis (Painful Bladder Syndrome)
A chronic bladder condition causing pelvic pain, bladder pressure, and urinary urgency/frequency, characterized by glycosaminoglycan (GAG) layer degradation.
Ovarian Cysts
Fluid-filled sacs or pockets in an ovary or on its surface, most of which develop as a result of the normal menstrual cycle (functional cysts).
Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI)
Loss of normal function of the ovaries before age 40, resulting in low estrogen production and lack of regular ovulation.
Endometriosis
A systemic condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus (endometrium) grows outside the uterine cavity, causing severe inflammatory lesions, adhesions, and scarring.
