Privacy Policy

SEDU is built on a foundation of privacy and trust. This document explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and your rights as an individual.

Data We Collect

  • Email address — collected only when you voluntarily join our waitlist, submit a partner inquiry, or contact us.
  • Name — optional field provided at your discretion. You may use a pseudonym.
  • Country/Region — inferred from your browser timezone for demographic analytics only. Never stored with personal identifiers.
  • Usage data — anonymous, aggregated analytics such as page views and scroll depth. No personal identifiers are attached.
  • Form submissions — partner requests, investor inquiries, and contact messages are stored securely in our database and accessible only to authorised SEDU team members.

How We Use Your Data

  • To add your email to the SEDU early access waitlist and notify you when the platform launches.
  • To respond to partner, investor, or general contact inquiries submitted through our forms.
  • To understand geographic demand and market reach through anonymised analytics.
  • To improve platform content, features, and communication based on aggregate usage trends.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • We do not use your data for advertising targeting or behavioural profiling.

Analytics & Cookies

  • SEDU uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the website is used.
  • Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised — we cannot identify individual users from analytics records.
  • We do not use invasive third-party advertising trackers such as Facebook Pixel or Google Ads.
  • Essential session cookies may be used to maintain secure admin sessions. These are strictly functional.
  • You may disable cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to use the public-facing SEDU website.

Data Security

  • All data is stored in encrypted databases hosted by Supabase, a SOC 2 Type II compliant infrastructure provider.
  • Data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3 encryption on all connections.
  • Admin access to collected data is protected by authentication and role-based access control.
  • We follow a principle of minimal data retention — we store only what is necessary and for as long as necessary.
  • Our infrastructure does not store payment data. SEDU does not currently process financial transactions.

Your Rights

  • Right to access — you may request a copy of all personal data SEDU holds about you.
  • Right to deletion — you may request permanent deletion of your data at any time. We will action this within 14 business days.
  • Right to correction — if any data we hold is inaccurate, you may request a correction.
  • Right to portability — you may request your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to withdraw consent — you may unsubscribe from waitlist communications at any time by contacting us.
  • Requests under GDPR, PDPB, or other applicable data protection laws are handled with equal diligence regardless of jurisdiction.

  • We aim to respond to all privacy requests within 5 business days and fully action them within 14 business days.
  • If you believe your data rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
  • This privacy policy was last updated: June 2026. We will notify waitlist subscribers of material changes via email.

SEDU is incorporated and operated in compliance with applicable data protection laws including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), and equivalent regional regulations. By using the SEDU website or submitting a form, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
